GAMETIME! 1-13-07 men’s b-ball v. Bradley halftime
The score at the half is 22-37 in favor of the Bradley Braves.
I think the only thing the fans here at Hulman Center have really cheered about is when the announcer announced the Colts won.
This game has not gone the Sycamores’ way at all so far. ISU just cannot hit a shot and are having trouble getting the ball inside to the post players.
The biggest problem the Sycamores are having right now, though, is the fact that junior guard Gabe Moore has two fouls. He had to sit out the last four minutes of the half and the ISU offense stagnated in that period of time. At times it seemed like the Sycamores had no play set and were just playing intramural basketball. I’ll tell you what: this is not a team that can win by playing isolation.
Currently, the Braves are shooting 60 percent from behind the three-point line while the Sycamores are shooting 20 percent from downtown.
I think the student section is stunned about the score because they have not moved at the break, there is no way they are all that interested in little kids shooting at a small basketball hoop, which is the halftime entertainment.
Check in to see if the Sycamores can make the comeback,
Ben Corn
